Harry Potter fans, what is your favourite mean of magical transportation and why?

Thats really hard! I loved all the great ways of magical transportation that J.K. Rowling invented and I wish I could travel by at least one of those ways, they sound so much more interesting than driving a car or taking the train. brbrI think apparition sounds great and is really handy, but its really hard to learn, you cant do it until you are seventeen and it sounds REALLY uncomfortable. I mean, who wants to be squeezed into a rubber tube, where you cant even breathe. Plus there are charms and spells to keep you from apparating.brbrThe Floo Network is a good idea, but you have to have a fire place and it has to be big enough to stand in, floo powder is expensive, you can end up in the wrong place if you are not careful, your fireplace has to be connected to the Network and you dont really stay very clean.brbrA portkey is great because its really quick, but you have to be able and allowed to turn an object into a portkey, you could take one by accident, it can leave without you so you have to be on time, and who wants their navel to be tugged ?brbrBrooms are great fun and comfortable there are cushoning charms on brooms but you have to have one in the first place and they are not cheap, you have to know how to ride one, they arent all that fast and you can get really cold on one. Or hot Plus if theres a big wind, and youre light you can get blown off course, you can only travel one at a time, because broomsticks are very small. And someone could knock you off youre broom.brbrThestrals are good because they can find just about any place, but you have to have seen someone snuff it to see them and you have to attract them with blood, like a broom you can get knocked off or really cold or hot, and they are fast but not as quick as portkeys and apparition.brbrWell, it is illegal and its probably hard to charm a car so it can fly, you need to know how to drive the vehicle and again they arent very fast.brbrFlying like Voldemort sounds very handy to fly with nothing underneath you but considering who was doing it, its probably very dark magic and maybe even illegal. Its probably fast but not as much as apparition and portkeys.brbrFlying carpets are comfortable but they can only hold so many wizards, besides they are illegal and defined as a Muggle Artefact by the Registry of Proscribed Charmable Objects. see book ,chapter seven, quotBagman and CrouchquotbrbrHippogriffs are uncomfortable and not extremly fast, you have to be very polite and nice to it and you risk being seen by muggles.brbrPheonix sounds great, but very few wizards have tamed pheonixes and they are really rare. But it is handy and gets you places fast.brbrBut all in all my favorite mean of magical transportation would be pheonixes, portkeys and brooms.
