I have read both books and I prefer Harry Potter. I like Twilight BUT I prefer HP. brbrTwilight is just your average book that will be forgotten in a couple of years. But HP will be talked about for years. Why you may ask me, well because you cannot compare it to Harry Potter, at least to me, for these following reasonsbrbrbrHARRY POTTERbr J.K spent more than years on her plot, which turned out to be fantastic. While Stephanie just dreamed about it and started writing, she didnt plan her plot, and mark my words this affected her plot severely.brbr J.Ks writing is very captivating, it grips you like a hook and makes you read obsessively. While Stephanies style of writing though some may find it good, is very weak, she uses the words too often and she writes three chapters each time she wants to describe how good looking Edward is.brbr J.Ks series is not only intended for females or a specific age group, as you can see many children, teenagers and adults enjoy it. While Stephanies saga is basically for young females who didnt read many books to be able to judge with a professional point of view, though I dont call myself a professional, nor am I belittling any reader.brbr J.Ks plot is new, it is appealing, no one ever had that idea of a boy who lived due to amazing circumstances. Stephanies plot isnt new, well I dont call humanampire affection new, that is used in many books. Since vampires are known to be very seductive and lustful.brbr J.Ks characters are very well imagined and described, you can relate to them and find them similar to who you are or people around you. Stephanies characters well not all of them, but most, are very annoying and rather dimwitted, I wish not to relate to them to tell you the truth.brbrTWILIGHTbr The characters are bland, flat, and onedementional. Firstly Bella is a total Mary Sue. Shes whiny and made Edward and Jacob her total . And soooooooo codependent on edward. I happen to find their relationship unbelievable, when did they fall n love ? As far as I know bella only likes Edward because he quote quotlike a male model from a magazinequot which brings me point .brbr We dont need pages telling us how hot Edward looks, we get it he is good looking but jeeze u ran it dwnbrbr The plot what plot!! Nothing ever happens til like the last couple of chapters!! The rest is just filler.brbr If u make a fantasy world and rules STICK THEM!!!brbrMESSAGESbrTWILIGHTbrfall in love with the first person that you meetbrall women are damsels in distressbra teenage girl should have no dreams except to fall in love, not even going college should matter to her.brthere is no such thing as friendship when you have the right man. ignore all your simple friendsbrperfection is bliss, and lust is a mustbrbrHARRY POTTERbrlove and friendship outlast all thingsbrsometimes one must do what is right instead of doing what is easybrbeing honerable is not the best title in lifebrfame isnt everythingbrthe world is full of bad people but all of those bad people have a tiny bit of good deep down inside thembrbrP.S JKRs writing is great but not perfect wheres SMs writing nothing more than an average fanfictionbrbrP.P.S Harry Potter sold million copies worldwide, wheras Twilight only sold million. You can argue that HP has been around longer but if you take all million and divide them by ten HP has been around for ten years thats still million copies each year. So thats answers your question right there. More people prefer HP.
